Breaking of Bread (The Lord's Supper)

Every Sunday morning from 11.30 am until 12.30 pm
Also known as the 'Lord's Day' or 'The first day of the week'
Who
All are welcome to attend this service. However, only those who know the Lord Jesus as their Saviour and are walking a consistent Christian life should partake of the bread and wine.
What
The first part of this service normally consists of Hymns, prayers, and readings which direct our thoughts to the sacrificial death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus. A prayer of thanks is then given for the Bread which symbolises the body of Christ. It is broken and then distributed among the congregation. A prayer of thanks is then given for the Wine which reminds us of Christ's blood shed for us at Calvary. The wine is then passed around and partaken by the believers. After this someone normally brings a short message.
Why
Jesus asked us to 'do this in remembrance of me'.
Luke Ch: 22 Vs 19-20
And He took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me. Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.
